Job
Responsibilities:
-
To supervise and manage day to day equipment / structural fabrication schedule/ progress
-
Conduct production ability studies with Engineering during product development
-
To improve on work processes and equipment upgrades
-
Initiate, assign work and monitor jobs to the fabrication work team every morning and throughout the day
-
To ensure material availability for jobs
-
Preparation of the required reports and ensuring the discipline of technicians
-
To manage good housekeeping practice of the workshop and premise
Job
Requirements:
-
Degree / Diploma in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
-
Good in communication skill with internal and external parties
-
3 to 5 years' experience required in Structural Steel works with good knowledge of welding and fabrication, preferable in heavy equipment industry
-
Computer proficiency in MS Project / Excel and MS Word
-
Ability to multitask and work in a fast pace environment
